Effective August 1, 2011, only two payment extensions
per calendar year will be allowed on utility bills.
All extensions must be requested in writing.
Contact City Hall if you require a payment extension.

Residential Garbage
Garbage should be out by 7:00 A.M.
Republic Services has furnished a Poly Cart for garbage services. This service will be a one day per week service with pick up on Tuesday. Republic Service will ONLY pick up the poly cart.
If you need an additional Poly Cart there will be a $8.00 charge per month, please contact City Hall (886-3873) and we will have the additional can brought to you.
If garbage is missed please try and contact City Hall about this problem on the same day so we can contact Republic Services and get it picked up the same day.
Policy for Limb Pickup
The members of the City Council of the City of Pinehurst wish to provide additional service to the citizens of our City by providing the pickup and disposal of limbs.
Limb pick up service policy is as follows:
1. Limb pick up will be conducted each month starting on the 3rd Monday of every month. Pick up will be all week or until all limbs have been picked up throughout the City.
BULK PICK UP
Heavy Trash and Bulk items, including white goods, will be collected from residences at curbside on the 2"d and 4th Wednesday of every month. Heavy trash/bulk consists of domestic waste generated from a typical household such as appliances and furniture that precludes the resident from placing it in the container.
To have your Unlimited Bulk Items picked up:

The City of Pinehurst has one community clean-up a year. This is usually held in April; but, you can check with the City on Service Sites.

The Public Works Division is responsible for maintaining the City's infrastructure, including parks and buildings. They provide customer service assistance to citizens for water, streets & drainage issues.

- Limbs or trimmings shall be picked up by City crews at no cost to the Citizens wit h the following conditions:
- Limbs cannot exceed six (6) inches in diameter.
- Each single limb cannot exceed a weight of fifty (SO) pounds.
- Limbs must not exceed a length of ten (10) feet .
- Limbs with large branches attached must be trimmed.
- Limbs for pick up must have been trimmed from trees and shrubbery from the property of the resident of the City.
- DO NOT MIX limbs with garbage and trash. If limbs are mixed with garbage and trash they will not be picked up.
- Limbs must be placed at the edge of the street but must not obstruct vehicle traffic or be placed in drainage ditches or storm water drains.
- Limbs must be clear of all power lines and trees.
